Consuelo Blocker
I know that most of my readers already know about Consuelo Blocker’s Blog but for those who do not know it, here is my advice: Do not visit it if you do not have a lot of time to spare. It is just impossible to pop in and not read and re-read her reviews about fashion, travel and restaurants.
All her posts are full of fantastic information, advice and nice photos and, most importantly, they are also full of life and positive energy.
I can not begin to tell you how pleased I am to be able to show you a little more about her through this interview that she granted me last week.

Eu sei que a maioria dos meus leitores já conhecem o Blog da Consuelo Blocker, mas para aqueles que não, deixo aqui o meu conselho: Só visite-o quando tiver um bom tempo disponível. Visitas relâmpagos são simplesmente impossíveis pois não se consegue ir lá não ler e reler o que a Consuelo escreve sobre moda, viagens e restaurantes.
Suas postagens são cheias de informações fantásticas, conselhos e boas fotos e, o mais importante, são cheias de vida e de energia positiva.
Eu não consegueria descrever o meu prazer em poder mostrar-lhe um pouco mais sobre ela através dessa entrevista que ela me concedeu na semana passada.
Best or favorite childhood memory: I loved it when my dad taught me to ride a horse! It was so high!
Dreamer or realistic: Super realistic!
Emotional or rational: The two … but one controls the other!
Planner or impulsive: I try to count to 20 … but sometimes I stop at 5 and do it anyway
Defect and or mania: I’m always late
Favorite book: I love Watermelon by Marian Keyes
Favorite movie: One of my favorites was Chariots of Fire not the best I’ve ever seen, but at the time it impressed me a lot
Film that excites you: Charings Cross Road
Favorite singer or band: Hmmm … I love Stevie Wonder
Favorite play or musical: Mary Poppins!
Favorite color: Green
Plastic surgery / botox or age gracefully? I did a blepharoplasty (eyelid) but only at the inferior part. I do believe in aging gracefully since it is so difficult to see a good face lift and maybe because I do not need it just as yet … however I can say that’s it is not easy to accept that things are starting to fall 
What is your daily beauty routine? Unfortunately I do not have a routine but I do use moisturiser from the tip of my toes to the tip of my hair every day. Lancôme …………..for the face, nivea for the rest of the body
Lipstick or lipgloss? Gloss … do not look good in lipstick
Beauty product you can not live without: Chapstick
Do you have any piece of clothing which does not want / will never get rid of? My pashminas … I can live forever with them rolled on me
Trousers or dress? trousers … but I have been wearing many dresses lately
Clothes or shoes? Does one exist without the other?
High heels or flats? Depends on the occasion
Favorite accessory: jewellery
Bikini or swimsuit? Bikini swimsuits are too warm
Favorite perfume: Volume 1 of the Beautiful Minds Series
Night or day: Life!
Rain or sunshine: Sunllllll!!
Hot or cold weather (winter or summer): I think there are seasons to enjoy the two moments …
Brazil or Italy: At the moment, Italy stole my heart!
Favorite city: London and Florence … do not ask me to choose!
Beach or mountains: I love them both! But I think this time I prefer the beach
Countryside or City: Depends on the city and countryside … rssss!
Indoors or outdoors: Doesn’t this depend on ones point of view?
Coffee or tea: Coffffeeeeeee!!!
Homemade meal or restaurant? Restaurant
Salty or sweet? I prefer cold pizza to ice cream
Favorite restaurant (and unforgettable): I have lived an amazing experience at Spring in Paris … but there are so many
Memorable or favorite hotel: Alvear in Buenos Aires!
What do you do to keep fit? Play tennis 3 times a week, and twice a week I do spinning.
My impression is that you and Roberto live in perfect harmony. Would you mind talking a little bit about that? We met at the right time of life. Children have grown up and are almost independent, I started the blog, Roberto takes great photos, he has the freedom to travel with me (which is a lot), we understand each other intellectually, do not keep secrets and are very open, we have the same kind of education, and respect for others and each other. We love life and always try to help each other. We laugh a lot and talk a lot when there is a problem. Also he is very patient and I gather that that’s the secret
Advice that you repeatedly give to your children: Self respect and respect for others.
What you attribute the success of your blog? Do you really think the blog a success? I love it but I think we still have to grow a lot to reach more people. What I can say is that the blog is positive and honest. I have a beautiful life and the blog has improved it even more and to be able to to share this beauty with other people is what makes the blog valuable.
Can you ever shut down completely work? NEVER!
Where and doing what do you see yourself in 10 years: Hopefully still doing the blog and being able to live of it …. and 5 pounds slimmer … always want it … rsss!

Cirurgia plastica/botox ou envelhecer graciosamente? Eu fiz uma blefaroplástica só na parte inferior. Mas acredito em envelhecer graciosamente porque é tão difícil ver uma boa plástica e talvez porque ainda não estou precisando demais…mas que é difícil ver as coisas cairem, é!!
Qual é a sua rotina diária de beleza? Não tenho infelizmente, a não ser colocar creme da ponta dos pés à ponta dos cabelos todos os dias. lâncome no rosto, nivea no resto do corpo
Batom ou lipgloss? Gloss…não fico bem de batom
Produto de beleza que não consegue viver sem: Chapstick
Você tem alguma peça de roupa da qual não quer/vai se livrar nunca?As minhas pashminas…vivo sempre com elas enroladas em mim
Calca ou vestido? Calça…mas tenho usado muitos vestidos ultimamente
Roupas ou sapatos? Um existe sem o outro?

O que vc faz para manter a forma? Jogo tênis 3 vezes por semana, spinning duas vezes por semana.
A minha impressao e a de que vc e Roberto vivem em perfeita sintonia , vc se importa de falar um pouquinho sobre isso? Nos encontramos no momento certo da vida. As crianças estão grandes e quase independentes, eu comecei o blog, o Roberto tira fotos lindas, ele tem a liberdade de poder viajar comigo (que é muito), nos entendemos intelectualmente, não guardamos segredos e somos muito abertos, temos o mesmo tipo de educação e muito respeito pelos outros e um ao outro. Adoramos a vida e tentamos sempre ajudar um ao outro. Rimos muito e quando temos um problema conversamos. Mas acho que ele é muito paciente, e esse é o segredo!! 
Conselho que repete sempre aos seus filhos: Se respeite e respeite aos outros.
A que voce atribui o sucesso do seu blog? Vc acha o blog um sucesso? Eu adoro ele mas acho que ainda tem que crescer muito para alcançar mais pessoas!!… Mas posso dizer que é um blog positivo e honesto. Tenho uma vida linda e que melhorou com o blog, poder dividir esta beleza com mais pessoas faz com que o blog tenha um valor para todos. Acho que é isso.
Voce consegue desligar-se completamente do trabalho? NUNCA! Se positivo, como?
Onde e fazendo o que voce se vê em 10 anos: Espero ainda fazendo o blog e podendo viver dele….e 5 kilos mais magra…sempre quero isso…rsss!
